Awarded across 23 categories covering the full supply chains of just about everything we consume, use and produce, the awards highlight the incredible efforts to pave the way toward, net-zero emissions, a circular economy, and sustainable industrial manufacturing.

 Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony at 6.30pm, 2 December 2025, Batman’s Hill on Collins, 623 Collins Street, Melbourne 3000.  

 TICKETS

Tickets to attend the awards ceremony are available here :$110 plus GST per person. 20% discount for three or more tickets. SIM-PAC Live Members: $75 plus GST per person.

 ENTRIES

Entries are open now and close 1 November 2025. Entries can include projects that are on-going, or either commenced or completed in the 2024 and 2025 calendar years.

Entries consisting of either one-page A4, or a maximum of four presentation slides, explaining to the Judges why your project should be considered for an award should be sent by email to: geoff@sim-pac.com. Please mark clearly what categories you want to enter.  

 OPEN TO ALL

The awards are open to all individuals, companies, governmental and non-governmental departments and organisations, headquartered or operating in the Asia Pacific Region.

 COST OF ENTRY 

·      SIM-PAC Live Members: No cost (included with membership)

·      SIM-PAC Live Presenters and Moderators: $375 plus GST

·      All other organisations: $750 plus GST.

 Note: Multiple categories can be entered for a single fee.

 JUDGING PANEL

·       Joanna Kay: Executive General Manager, Zero Carbon Hydrogen Australia. Advisory Board Member - Institute of Sustainability, Energy and Resources, University of Adelaide. Advisory Board Member - National Hydrogen Strategy, Australian Government.

·       A/Prof Anita Parbhakar-Fox: Superstar of STEM 23-24. Principal Research Fellow in Applied Geochemistry at the W.H. Bryan Mining and Geology Research Centre within the Sustainable Minerals Institute and leads the Mine Waste Transformation through Characterisation (MIWATCH) group.

·       Dr Vicky Au is Director of Decarbonisation for the Asia Pacific region at Wood, a global consulting and engineering company, where she focuses on bringing the most effective carbon management solutions to clients across the energy, metals, life sciences and chemicals sectors to enable sustainability goals. Vicky has a PhD in Physics from the ANU and a Harvard Business School graduate, and is qualified as a CPA.

·       Geoff Matthews: SIM-PAC Live Event Director and Host of the SIM-PAC Live Broadcast Show. Advisory Board, Future Aluminium Forum (2019-2022).

 Note: Judges decision is final. Judges may request more information about an entry, as well as including an entry into another category. Judges may choose not to award a category in any given year and may also choose to award special Judges Commendation and Merit Prizes alongside a winner in any category.
