Over the past 43 years Tony has been a tradesman, concrete construction specialist, concrete producer and fibre specialist coupled with a keen interest and understanding of engineering design and concrete chemistry majoring in problem solving associated with the Design and Concrete Construction Industries.
This specialist knowledge has been used with a unique ability to communicate between designers, concrete producers and onsite personnel, to produce optimum solutions, with existing and future systems being developed and refined. Tony was the founder & Chair of the Nth Qld branch of the Concrete Institute of Australia for 11 years and stepped down in 2021. The past 9 years has seen Tony focus on sustainability in concrete along with James Cook University publishing 9 peer review journal papers. Tony is the inventor of the 100% recycled plastic macro synthetic fibres both Re-Poly and Emesh. Tony has an enthusiasm, passion and drive that enthuses a team to overcome or solve a problem. The ability to bypass conventional thinking restraints and to find the optimum solution through all levels of technology that has seen new products and systems successfully introduced and developed across Australia.
