Dr Gundi Rhoades has been a veterinarian for over 33 years- 22 of that in her own

country practice in the rural town of Inverell in NSW, Australia. In her clinic that employs 5 veterinarians and 6 nurses, she treats livestock as well as pets. As a mixed practice vet, her knowledge is extensive, from internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry, orthopaedics, reproduction, ophthalmology or surgery in all the diverse species, to being on farms, pregnancy testing cattle all day.

She lived and managed a cattle property first with then without her husband for many years, breeding Angus bulls. In those years she became an expert in regenerative agriculture with emphasis on soil microbiology and climate science.

Her special interest has been nutrition of people and animals, and how the connection of healthy soil makes healthy individuals and a healthy environment, and chemical, modern farming creates avalanches of disease and environmental decline.

She is passionate about teaching healthy farming methods and investigating the roots of many diseases of modern people and animals. She is part of Regenerate Earth and Carbon 8, two organisations who want to encourage regenerative agriculture, has written a book called The Food Solution and has a podcast :The Regenerative Vet. She is currently studying nutrition for humans and offers consultations for people wanting to eat healthier.

She is a mother to three adult children.
