Marianne (Ria) Jago - Listening Directly for Ecological Insight

Marianne (Ria) is a DPhil student at Sunshine Coast University, in the Departments of Law and Society. Her research responds to the invitations of Indigenous Elders, and "wild" places - such as River, Forest, and Sky - to listen directly for ecological insight. Her recent work has focussed on platypus wisdom in troubled ecological times. She listens primarily with the Rivers and Forests in the Clarence River Valley of Northern NSW
